We’ve been speaking to newly-appointed Tipperary Senior Hurling manager Colm Bonnar, who was ratified as Liam Sheedy’s successor last night.
The Cashel King Cormacs clubman revealed how this is a position he’s cherished for some time – and a role he’s applied for in the past.
Based in Waterford for many years, Colm talks about his successful days as a club player with Cashel King Cormacs, and the huge success he’s achieved as a manager/coach at colleges, club and inter-county levels.
A two-time All-Ireland SHC medalist with Tipperary in 1989 and 1991, Colm brings a wealth of pedigree and experience to his new role, which he describes as the biggest he’s taken on to date in hurling management.
On behalf of all of us at the Tipperary Supporters Club, we wish Colm all the very best in the position. Tiobraid Árann abú.
