TIPP TEAMS IN ACTION
Tipp Senior Hurlers drew with Kilkenny last Saturday evening, 21st March, in FBD Semple Stadium in the final group game of the League on a scoreline of 2-27 to 3-24. As anticipated, Kilkenny arrived with determination to wipe the memory of Salthill from their minds and this they achieved. Both sides will feel that they should have gotten more from the encounter but the visitors will have been the happier.Congratulations to the U20 hurlers who began their Munster Championship campaign on last Wednesday, March 25th, in FBD Semple Stadium with a hard-earned victory over Cork. In truth, it could be viewed as a below par display against a hard hitting Rebel side who played all the second half with 14 men. A goal from Jamie Ormond proved to be the crucial score in a 1-21 to 0-22 while Stefan Tobin was undoubtedly MOTM with six points from play, some of them exceptional. Points from Cormac Fitzpatrick and influential captain Oisín O’Donoghue helped Tipperary to an edgy victory. Job done but plenty room for improvement.Well done to the senior footballers who produced an impressive performance in their final group game last Sunday, 22nd March, with a victory over Waterford on a 4-19 to 0-18 scoreline in FBD Semple Stadium. Well done also to the U20 footballers who defeated Limerick in New Inn last Saturday evening, 21st March, on a 3-13 to 2-9 scoreline. This victory keeps their interest in the championship alive after a disappointing first outing. Hard luck to the minors who lost out to Limerick on a scoreline of 1-9 to 1-4 in Lattin today, 29th March.

TIPP V KILKENNY MASCOT
Jaxon Cranley from Cappawhite was the TSC mascot for the Kilkenny match - here is his report:“Being Tipperary Supporters Club Mascot for Tipp v Kilkenny on March 21st was unreal! From arriving in Thurles, everything felt so special — meeting players, getting high fives, seeing my name in the programme, and going on the pitch.I met legends Ronan Maher & TJ Reid and watched the match from the press box and even got interviewed on Tipp FM!I finished the day with photos with players and a big smile. I felt so proud and lucky — a day I’ll never forget.Favourite part of the day was being in the tunnel and the Tipp boys flying out past me. I hope to be running out there myself in the future. I was first up to Conor Martin after the game for a picture. Thanks to Tipperary Supporters Club for this amazing experience. UP TIPP!!!’
