MASCOT EXPERIENCE : BELLA COFFEY
Then we made our way into the stadium.
My dad & sister sat in the New Stand and my mam and I went over to the Old stand.
I watched the Tipp Team run out onto the pitch where I jumped into the Team picture.
John McGrath gave me his sliotar.
Liam Cahill came over to shake my hand and I got a picture with him.
I met the referee, he gave me the match sliotar to bring out onto the pitch.
My name was announced in the stadium as the Tipperary Mascot & it also appeared on the big screen. That was amazing!
I met Tipperary captain Ronan Maher & Galway Captain Conor Whelan. They were both very nice. I got my photo taken with them.
I witnessed the coin toss and Tipperary won.
We went straight up to the radio broadcasting booths where I saw the 1st half of the match with a great view.
I said a few words on Tipp FM at halftime about my day & about how Tipp were playing.
When I was leaving I met RTE’s Marty Morrissey. He was very nice, he asked me how I became the Tipp Mascot and I got my photo with him.
Tipperary won the match and I ran out onto the pitch and got my Hurley signed by lots of the players.
It was a brilliant day, with lots of photos and memories. Thanks to the Tipp Supporters club for this opportunity and thanks to John Coman and Michael Collins.
