All three of Patrickswell’s hurlers of the year have been included in the Limerick team to face Tipperary in Saturday’s Allianz Division 1B clash in Cork.
Last year's winner Aaron Gillane and two-time top player Cian Lynch make their first regular season starts alongside 2022 recipient Diarmaid Byrnes.
Na Piarsaigh's Peter Casey also comes back into the team as John Kiely makes five changes from the side that began the win over Dublin last Saturday week. Also introduced to the 15 are Dan Morrissey and Colin Coughlan.
Having started the game in Croke Park, Barry Nash, Kyle Hayes and Shane O’Brien are not in the matchday panel while Tom Morrissey and Adam English are named on the bench. Gillane’s brother Jason is drafted into the group as substitute goalkeeper.
Tipperary make 11 changes from the team that began the Round 3 win over Westmeath. Ten of the side that started the victory over Galway in Round 4 are named in the starting line-up.
